  • La Jolla Mutt Strut 2023

    La Jolla Loves Pets Foundation wants to promote creating more memorable moments for our local pet owners and their fur-babies. But we also want to use our biggest strength – our numbers – to help those who help animals. And we also want to support our community.

    And all our events have dog adoptions on site. Come to Mutt Strut 2023, be a part of our community, and help more animals!

    With a one-time $300 donation, you will receive a vinyl banner to be displayed EVERY YEAR at ALL our events. The banner will include your pet’s photo, your name and your business logo. We call this FUR-EVER Wall of Fame. ❤️🐾

    Our goal is to display every pet that lives here in La Jolla. Your pet gets a forever memory, and your donation helps homeless animals.

  • La Jolla Santa Paws 2022

    La Jolla Santa Paws 2022 was our winter Fundraiser benefitting the Frosted Faces Foundation. Students from La Jolla Elementary were helping with Santa Dog Photos, and we also had hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies. It was a gorgeous day, that grew into a weekend completing the Scavenger Hunt and collecting Santa Paws around La Jolla Village. One lucky winner took home a $50 gift card from Decker’s Dog + Cat pet store, a gift card for a free groom/bath/nail trim to La Jolla Grooming Co, and lots of treats, toys, and accessories. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

  • La Jolla Christmas Parade 2022

    This was our first participation in La Jolla Christmas Parade. We purchased a giant inflatable dog that rode in a decked-up convertible. Everyone wore festive outfits. Of course, my own dog stopped the proceeding and pooped in the middle of Girard. 🤦‍♀️ Next year, we decided we’ll have an Ugly Sweater Matching Outfits theme where dogs and their owners dress alike. Raising awareness of all the dog-themed events in La Jolla so that we can raise as much money for homeless pets as possible.

  • La Jolla Dog-O-Ween 2022

    We had some unbelievable costumes! All dogs got to be announced on the Red Carpet, and it was extremely difficult to select winners – they all looked amazing! And most importantly, few dogs found forever homes at our event!! 🙌 We were able to donate a total of $4,000 to four local pet rescues. It was a wonderful day!

  • La Jolla Mutt Strut 2022

    In May 2022, we did our Inaugural La Jolla Mutt Strut together with the Foundation of La Jolla High School.
